Community Assisted Rides – La Grange, IL
Part-Time: Thursday

Community Assisted Rides (CARS), a nonprofit organization serving older adults, is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Ride Coordinator to join our team one day per week. This position plays a vital role in helping older adults remain independent by coordinating volunteer transportation to essential appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls from clients and assist with ride requests
• Schedule rides using our ride management software
• Contact and coordinate volunteer drivers to fulfill ride needs
• Provide clear and courteous communication with clients and volunteers
• Accurately track and update ride information
• Ideal Candidate:
• Pleasant phone voice
• Enjoys working with older adults and volunteers
• Has strong communication and organizational skills
• Is comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Is dependable, flexible, and a problem-solver
• Prior experience with scheduling or customer service

Schedule:
Thursdays, 8:30am-4pm
