This November, our community is coming together to collect 25,000 toy cars for children in need, and local businesses are invited to help make it happen.

Organized by local Eagle Scout candidate Collin Bosley, the toy drive will culminate in an official*Guinness World Record attempt for the Longest Line of Toy Cars at the Burr Ridge Park District on November 14 and 15, 2026.

The event also celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Route 66, bringing together cars, community and service. After the record attempt, the cars will be donated through Kiwanis to children in need for the holidays.

Local Businesses Can Help Drive the Impact

Reaching 25,000 cars will take the support of our entire community. Local businesses can host a donation box, collect cars from employees and customers, volunteer, help spread the word, or become an event sponsor.

Monetary donations and event sponsorships are made to Kiwanis International, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and are tax deductible.
