AWARD-WINNING MANAGEMENT DUO TO LEAD NEWLY RENOVATED DELTA HOTELS BY MARRIOTT CHICAGO WILLOWBROOK
The Delta Hotels by Marriott Chicago Willowbrook and Willby’s Restaurant & Bar are proud to announce a new, award-winning management team to represent the freshly reopened 165-room hotel and restaurant, including over 11,000 square feet of wedding and event space. The new team includes Howard Gottlieb as the new general manager and Nathan Karsten as the director of sales and marketing.

More about the Management Team
Howard Gottlieb, the general manager, is a longtime leader in the hospitality industry with experience launching new hotels and increasing sales for a wide variety of luxury and high-profile properties in downtown Chicago and the Chicagoland area. Known for increasing efficiency as well as improving customer service, Gottlieb was named “Best in Class” by First Hospitality for his work at his previous property, the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago-Glenview. Gottlieb will be overseeing the entire operation of the hotel, restaurant, meetings and event space, and weddings.
Nathan Karsten, director of sales, has been in hotel sales and marketing for more than 20 years, most recently at the Chicago Oak Brook Hills Resort & Conference Center. Karsten excels at increasing market share, training and leading successful sales teams, and working with clients. At the Delta Hotels by Marriott Chicago Willowbrook, Karsten will be managing all marketing and sales efforts for the hotel and restaurant including building awareness for the property and event space, creating restaurant promotions, and developing relationships within Willowbrook and the DuPage County community at large.
“This location has hosted thousands of events, weddings, and holiday meals for the community over the past 50 years,” continued Gottlieb. “We plan to continue traditions like these and make new ones in our completely renovated hotel and the new Willby’s Restaurant & Bar.”

Currently the only Delta by Marriott in Illinois, the Delta Hotels by Marriott Chicago Willowbrook represents one of the newest hotels in the Chicagoland southwest suburban market. Willby’s Restaurant & Bar is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as for room service. The menu features creative American cuisine, and within the next few months guests can look forward to a fresh new seasonal menu.
The hotel is located 30 miles from downtown Chicago, 15 miles from Chicago Midway Airport and 21 miles from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
