Help The Burr Ridge Community Park Foundation Raise Funds

The Burr Ridge Community Park Foundation raises funds each year to advance and enhance the recreational, educational, and environmental programs of the Burr Ridge Park District.

Pedal the Parks, our main fundraiser, is a bike tour through 4 of the Park District’s most beautiful Parks.  To date, we have raised more than $90,000 to fulfill our mission. Contributions from the Foundation support the Burr Ridge Park District in a variety of ways.  Briefly, we have enabled, supported, or conducted many initiatives in recent years, including:

• Wetlands Preservation                        
• Splash Pads at Harvester Park
• Woods Pool Revitalization
• Adult Fitness Court at Harvester Park
• Historic Homestead Hill Play Area
• Financial Aid Assistance for Participation in Park Programs

​Last year the Foundation launched its TREES PLEASE initiative with hopes of reversing the diminishing tree population prevalent in our area.  Thanks to generous donors, 11 new trees were planted in various parks this fall!  We hope to plant even more trees next year and continue the benefits trees provide;  beauty, clean air, flood protection, improved property values, and wildlife habitats. Contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated and will help to continue our tree replacement and beautification program.

For a donation of $500 or more, you will have the opportunity to choose a planting location from the Park District’s recommendations as well as receive special recognition at the Burr Ridge Community Center at Harvester Park.  You can donate online at: www.BurrRidgeParkFoundation.org or by check payable to:
